We’re going to celebrate our New Year in Jimmy Buffett style - floating in the tropical waters of The Bahamas. Join Host Connections International for a cruise to Florida and The Bahamas Dec. 29 to Jan. 6 aboard the Royal Caribbean International’s Anthem of the Seas.
This is one of our most popular adventures and having it so close to the holidays will make it incredibly special. If you’ve ever been to our holiday party or on one of our cruises, you’ll come to expect an exceptional experience that leaves you stories to tell for months to come.
We’re going to depart 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 from Cape Liberty, New Jersey as the Statue of Liberty looks down on our ship. Dec. 30-31, we’ll spend at sea which will give you an opportunity to explore the amenities of the Anthem of the Seas. On board you’ll find plenty of ways to relax or work up a sweat. Take flight in the skydiving simulator RipCord by iFly, relive those classic Boardwalk nights on the bumper cars, catch some waves in the standing-wave surfing pool, and of course, you can try your luck at the Casino Royale.
Take a spin on the slot machines or try your hand at ultimate Texas hold'em, Omaha, Caribbean stud and big raise stud poker. All the Las Vegas-style games that you’re used to are on board including roulette, video poker, craps, blackjack, baccarat, and even slot and poker tournaments.
The Anthem of the Seas is also home to the Guinness Book of World Records-holding Highest Viewing Deck On Any Cruise Ship with the North Star observational pod that takes guests soaring 300 feet above sea level. We’ll spend Jan. 1 in Orlando - arriving 7 a.m. and departing 7 p.m. The following day, we’ll be Nassau, Bahamas - the home of “Flipper,” the Pirates of Nassau Museum and glass-bottom boat tours to explore shipwrecks along the coast. We’ll be in CocoCay, Bahamas 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 where we’ll have plenty of options to explore the island’s crystal-clear waters including snorkeling, parasailing, kayaking and jet skiing. Caylana’s Aqua Park is the jewel of CocoCay and we recommend you take time to explore this natural wonderland.
We’ll spend Jan. 4-5 sailing at sea so you can explore more of the Anthem of the Seas as we cruise back to Cape Liberty, where we will arrive Sunday, Jan. 6. For more tips at sea, see the Top 10 Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas hidden secrets.
